Good morning everyone!
Today I am excited to share with you a quick and easy tag that I created featuring Lindy's spray inks and product from our March kit.
Texture Tip: To begin this project, I ran the foil paper through my Cuttlebug with an embossing plate to create a really nice background texture. The embossing plate combined with the metal look of the tape really create a nice texture without adding a lot of weight to the piece. When that was done, I added several different alcohol inks to create a stained glass effect.
For the next step, I used an applicator to spread some black Distress ink over the entire piece to tone it down a bit.
Then, I used the gold Lindy's spray from our kit and sprayed the entire tag with it. I crumpled the tag to create some more texture, and covered a chipboard angel with the black ink from the kit. I also added a gear covered in ink from the kit, and one of the arrow brads.
I attached the embossed foil piece and added some vintage resin covered paper from my stash, as well as a bit of pink rosette ribbon to the tag. A piece of ribbon was also dyed with ink to match the tag.
And here is the finished tag:
Beautiful!

DeleteBeautiful color combination. I really liked the embossing folder you used. The paisley pattern really shows the color well with all the nooks and crannies of the pattern. Really pretty.
