Gift Tags

Where to begin?????  So many fun products to choose from!!  I decided to start with a smaller project while I day dreamed about what I would do next:)

Here's what I used from our FANTASTIC September Kit (pink stars)

Along with the OUTSTANDING Sept. Kit products, I pulled out this Scrapbook Paper Pad I had snaggged on sale and this box of key tags left over from a Women's Event I led.

I "inked" up this chevron stamp with the JUICY Pink Pitt Big Brush Pen & Neon Blue Stamp Pad and went to work on some plain white tags.

Next, I cut out some of the cute shapes from the printed paper pad and used the whale on the blue chevron tag.  I added the blue "fragments" to mimic water, glueing them to the smaller key tag as well.
I drew the number 4 and a few whale details with the Viva Paper Pen.  I love how it becomes 3 dimensional when dry.

On the next two chevron "bases" I used the Frog Dog Original Stamp set.  I really like their clean & simple design.

I continued to use some of the Animal cut outs, Fragments, Paper Pen, & Frog Dog Stamps
on the next group of tags.

On the Owl tag below, I started out by coloring the background with the Pink Pitt Big Brush Pen and then added a "smear" of white gesso over the whole thing.  Next I added the owl cut out, doodles and blue fragments.  On the small key tag, I used the Frog Dog Arrow Stamp
inked with the Neon Blue ink pad.

I added a little white gesso to the chevron stamped tags, just to give them a little more dimension.

Above, this little "4 You" key tag is colored with the Pink Pitt Big Brush and finished with some white gesso and a doodled number.

I like to have some ready made tags on hand instead of buying a "Hallmark Card."
(It takes me SOOO long to pick out a card...you?)

Homemade tags add a personal touch to any gift, and you can write your own sentiments on the back.

It makes it quick and easy, when you start with some images cut out from
some of your scrapbook papers.

I'm just getting started with the AMAZING September kit...but aren't ALL of the kits Tina puts together over the top AMAZING?!!!

As always, it is a blessing to share what I love,

Thanks for visiting!

Creatively Yours,
Sue
