Have You Ever Wondered? or FYI Product Details

Hello creative souls, Martha Richardson here. Today will be the 1st in a monthly series that I will be creating... "Have You Ever Wondered? or  FYI Product Details". I'm going to take a look at one or more products from the monthly kit. The more you know about the various properties and uses the more you will find uses for them. I love this idea and I am naturally an information seeker which is what led me to create this series. I'm going to share details and information for one or more products found in each monthly kit. Information that I have gathered from the internet and put into one spot for your use.

PRODUCTS used from the  August Mixed Media Kit includes:
(1) ARTchix Ephemera Sheet
(1) ARTchix ECO ATC cards
(1) Viva Decor Inka Gold - Platinum
(1) Viva Decor Glitter Paste

Let's start with the Viva Colour Iridescent Glitter Paste.
Used to create a shimmering 3D effect, easy to apply freehand with stencils and pallet knife. Clean tools after use with water. Drying time varies upon surface and coat thickness.
• Creates intense sparkle due to high glitter content and caviar beads.
• Can be used on cardstock, chipboard, wood, glass, styrofoam, ceramics, foil and much more!
• Create dimensional effect / texture
• Water and fade resistant
• Easy to use, great with stencils
• Can be used with low temp heat gun to expedite drying time.
• High opacity
• Water based acrylic and non-toxic

Also available Viva Color BLACK Glitter Paste {be still my heart}!

And then we have Viva Colour Inka Gold:
A water based beeswax paste with no chemical additives or preservatives. With beeswax as one of the main ingredients, Inka Gold is safe and easy to use in all crafting and home decor projects. Just rub it on and polish!

Excellent for use on almost any dry, absorbent surface such as paper, paper mache, wood, bisque, terra cotta, etc.

Also great on glass, metal, and other non-porous surfaces when applied over Inka Gold Base Coat.
Step-by-Step Instructions for applying Inka-Gold
1.Load a small amount of Inka-Gold onto a dry sponge.
2.Rub the paint on your chosen object with a circular motion. The more you rub, the glossier it will become.
3.After the first coat has dried, you can apply a second coat to give an even more brilliant metallic finish.
4.After the application has dried, you can buff it gently with a soft dry cloth.
5.Other products can be applied after the Inka-Gold has dried.

Dried Up Inka-Gold?  Add fresh water to the jar.
Poke holes to break up the Inka Gold and disperse the water throughout the paste. Screw the lid tightly on the jar and let it sit several hours or over night. The Inka-Gold will be nice and creamy again.
I'm including links to several videos created by Marah Johnson, with her express permission.

So with all that information let's take a look at my project I created using a piece of cardboard as my canvas.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing a moment with me. I hope you like this series and will utilize the information provided. Make sure you stop by everyday to see what the other fabulous Design Team has created with this months kit!
